Competition Conditions

  1. There is a maximum of 1 attempt only by 1 participant only. No practice attempts allowed.
  2. The participant will be the chosen by barrel draw, and must be a person who is not a current or former player of any code of football at a professional, semi-professional or collegiate level.
  3. The participant must be a minimum of 18 years of age (proof of identification may be required to participate).
  4. The participant must be present and available to participate in the competition immediately after selection, with no allowance of time for practice kicks.
  5. The individual selected to participate must be the same individual that participates in the insured competition, the person selected is not allowed to appoint another person to take the kick on their behalf.
  6. The kick attempt will be taken with the ball kicked from a tee and the distance between the point at which the ball is kicked and the target will be no less than 30 metres.
  7. The flight of the ball must leave the participant’s foot and fly directly and uninterrupted into the stack of car tyres without touching the ground and the ball must remain inside the stack of car tyres in order to be considered a successful kick.
  8. The kick attempt must be observed by two NTRU accredited referees or assistant referees, or another independent third party approved by Underwriters.
  9. A successful kick (in accordance with condition 7 above) must be verified by both referees in order for the prize to be awarded to a successful participant.
  10. The NTRU reserves the right to deem any kick unsuccessful should they feel the rules have been violated.
